Shao is a 10th grade student at the University of Toronto Schools, and is eager to serve FBLC on the National Advisory Council for the 2026-2027 year. He uncovered his passion for speaking through endeavors in debate, winning national and international awards. Shao wishes to uplift his community, having co-founded an organization devoted to promoting youth opportunity and special-needs assistance. Outside these commitments, he enjoys listening to music, playing volleyball, and traversing the world. Shao looks forward to enhancing competitor experiences, and producing strategies for FBLC expansion.
