Ava Akhavan is a Grade 9 Pre-IB student at Bayview Secondary School in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Her journey with FBLC began with her competing in CJLC during Grade 7 and 8, where she discovered her passion for entrepreneurial development and aspired to take on more responsibility within FBLC. Since then, she has been dedicated to creating impactful change within her community through volunteering her time and contributing new ideas. Beyond the NAC, Ava enjoys playing the piano and the flute, as well as taking long walks. This year, Ava is excited to contribute as a National Advisory Council member!
